Validity evidence can take many forms, such as correlations with other measures as well as nontest criteria relevant to the construct's nomological net.
Unfortunately these various types of validity evidence often are confused in the literature and applied incon- sistently.
Rather than thinking of them as independent types of validity, it is useful to consider them as different aspects of the same validity evidence.
